Billy’s Big Plan to Help Dad
Hey, guess what? I’m Billy, and I’m only 8, but I’ve got a super big story to tell you! My dad’s in a huge mess right now, and I’m gonna help him fix it. Ready to hear? Let’s go!
So, my dad lost his job at the car shop last week. Boo! He’s super sad, and he keeps saying, “How will we buy food, Billy?” or “What about your toys?” I see him sitting on the couch, looking like a grumpy bear who lost his honey. It makes my heart feel all squishy and sad.
We can’t even get ice cream on Fridays anymore! Can you believe that?
But wait! I’ve got a mega awesome plan to save the day! I’m gonna start a lemonade stand right outside our house. I’ll make the yummiest lemonade ever, sweeter than a candy mountain! I’ll draw funny signs with smiley lemons saying, “Buy Billy’s Drink!”
I bet everyone will come, even grumpy old Mr. Jenkins! I’ll give all the money to Dad, and he’ll smile bigger than a clown. Did you know that kids can help tackle family finances? Won’t that be the best? I’m so excited to help!
