Billy’s Battle Against the Money Monster
Hey, guess what? I’m Billy, and I’m 8 years old, and I’ve got something super important to tell you! My dad is in a big, giant mess right now. He’s got this thing called debt, which is like owing a huge pile of candy to a candy monster, except it’s money! He looks so sad sometimes, like when you lose your favorite toy under the couch. He says we can’t buy cool stuff like pizza or new sneakers ‘cause we gotta pay the money monster first. It’s a bummer!
But wait, I’ve got a plan! I’m gonna help Dad beat that sneaky money monster!
First, I told him to save every penny, like hiding treasure in a pirate chest. No more buying soda—water is free, right?
Then, I’m making awesome drawings to sell at school for 25 cents each. I drew a dinosaur eating a taco—super funny, huh? If I sell 100, that’s a lot of money!
And I’m telling Dad to do extra chores for neighbors, like mowing lawns. We’re a team! Also, I learned that a good way to start is by creating a debt repayment plan so we can manage our way through this mess together!
